I am in peri-menopause, irregular periods, etc. My question is, today I had a one time bleed, after using the bathroom, bright red blood, stopped as quick as it started. It is not hemmoroids... This is the first time this has happened. Anyone else had this happen? I am not really due for another week and that would be early, which I usually am.... If it was not so red, it would not have concerned me. Thanks......
I have two friends that are also going through peri (as I am) and they both have similar symptoms as you... they both have fibroids. Go to your ob-gyn and get checked out. If the problem is fibroids, it's nothing to worry about.
I'm in pre-menopause and haven't had a real period for 9 months.(normal 5 day flow). The only other thing I have had in 2 years are 2 instances where I wiped myself after peeing, and found a pin sized *** of light colored blood. Apparently from what I have read, this is considered a period. It is when you haven't had any blood whatsoever for over 12 months that you are considered as being in menopause.
I am in the peri stage too. And my cycles are closer and closer now, also 3 seperate times this past year (in April, July and again this month) I had bright red blood appear for one day then suddenly disappear, I keep a journal of my cycle and notice that all 3 times this happened, it was "mid-cycle" bleeding and as far as I know...normal for someone going through peri-menopause. Anyone else with additional info? Thank you!!!
I have had the same thing probably 3 times in the last nine months or so. As I understand it, this is mid-cycle bleeding and "normal" for some perio-meno women, like us!
This just happened to me on day 18- I thought my period was starting (it too would have been one week early) but that was on Tues. night and today nothing. It too was bright red and I was surprised because I did not have the usual pre-period thing. I know that I do have a small fluid cyst and a fibroid.
