Is this a HOT Flash/Flush - Menopause Message Board

Not sure if this is a hot flash or not.
Last night all of a sudden my face felt hot under the skin, lasted about 20 mins.. My face since looks like I have a sunburn. Forhead is reddish and so are my cheeks. Can this me hot flashes/flushes? Terry

Hey Andrea,
I got locked out of the board for a couple of days due to a problem with my IP address, I really missed you all!!

When your hot flashes started did you have a feeling of just being really hot for a few minutes and then you are back to normal. I mean I don't have sweating or a flushed face, but the past few weeks I have noticed that I just get hot. I have been cold for 8 months and now I will be fine one minute then next hot and then fine again. Sound crazy?? Hope you are doing ok.
