Hi..Just wondering if anyone has experienced this....I woke up the other morning, almost a week ago, and my tongue felt like I had scalded it on hot coffee or soup, but I hadn't...My tongue and sometimes parts of my mouth feel like tingly or burning, and somewhat rough and numb, and seem to not be able to taste things like I could before...Also, very spicy or salty foods seem to irritate it more..I was reading about it on the internet and it says most people who get it are women over 40, usually at 3 yrs before menopause or 12 yrs after..I will be 47 soon, so I am almost exactly at the 3 yrs before total menopause..I have been having peri menopausal symptoms since my late 30s, and many more recently...Is this ANOTHER symptom of peri?? Has anyone heard of this, and will it ever go away?
Thanks for any info!!
