Psalms, if I could get off this sofa I'd do a happy dance because you're feeling better. Congrats. on being able to teach in children's church. It's always so good to hear from women who are doing well during this "fun" time in our lives. I'll let everyone know when the "real fun" begins

. I'm not trying to avoid answering your question about my experience with Paxil, it's just that I do not want to discourage anyone from trying this antid. if it will improve the quality of their life. We are all so unique and so are our experiences. I will say that for 7 days on Paxil I felt GREAT! I had plenty of get up and go, confident, and just overall happy. I remember even telling my husband that I was going to remain on Paxil for every, if possible. A co-worker took Paxil for quite some time until it pooped out then she switched to Lexapro. She was quite happy with Lexapro and the lack of side effects. Unfortunately, when I took Lexapro I felt so spaced out it was simply horrible. My sister took Lexapro along with Wellbutrin for awhile for perimenopausal symptoms and did well. She is now taking Effexor and she really likes how it helps her with all her symptoms. Last time that we spoke about this she stated how well Effexor made her feel. Another friend has been on Effexor for about 7 years and she breezed through menopause with an occasional hot flash. She calls Effexor her happy pill. My point in rambling is that none of us want to take any type of medication, but if that "happy pill" will give you the quality of life that you deserve then "CHEERS".
