Brain Fog - Menopause Message Board

Hi. I am 45 and have been treated for Graves Disease with RAI and I am trying decide if my daily brain fog (often lifts towards the PM) is thyroid related or pre-menopause related. I do get night sweats around my period, but actually the brain fog lifts a day or two just before my period (not always)...is this a women's things or a thyroid thing? Thanks to anyone! Pixiek

I have a thyroid issue and I think im also premenopause so in addition to treating my thyroid i just ordered some emerita progesterone cream to help with the meno stuff. I think these 2 things aggrivate each other. In other words, its not just one thing making us feel bad except for me nothing is working so im trying anything I can and this stuff is all natural so it cant hurt.

Thanks for replying. About thyroid and premeno: I have been wondering about the connection as well and have thought of the projesterone....let me know how it works for you...are you taking any vitamins? Pixiek
