Twitching..... - Menopause Message Board

I know I have read on the board about twitching being part of peri... but are these twitches not usually in the legs, eyes etc? I have had a strange twitching tugging sensation in my bottom lip(right side) for 3 days now. It almost feels like its vibrating. I think it is just below the lip. Anyone else have twitches here? Again..it is another symptom that is sorta stressing me out!! Thanks all...L

I get that strange twitching too (along with twitching everywhere else). I will feel it start and I immediately put my hand there and try to see it in the mirror, but then it has stopped. So very weird!

Newbie, I too stick my hand right there to make it stop. I have some structural problems with my neck and spine so I find it hard to tell what is what. Glad to know someonelse has it near their mouth. I too have twitchies all over, legs, ribs, eye, but never had the vibration twitching sensation around the mouth. Thanks for the post..L

Was I pleased to read your posting!! While I get those famous night time leg twitches, the last 4 days my left eye has been driving me to distraction with on and off twitching. A friend told me stress does that. I thought okay, but I've been stressed before and never had it. Been thinking maybe it it is eye strain, but then again it simply could be, good old peri.

Haven't had it in the lip, but I do have a lot of tooth and jaw pain. You mentioning the vibrating - a while ago I had an upper front tooth vibrate for several weeks then went away. Leaves me wondering!

Yep, me too. I've had the twitches just about everywhere.Even my rear. It is soooo freaky.
I wander if it is the PM or the anti -depressants I'm on.
