Well I am not sure if I am on the right board but since I could not find one pertaining to "menstruation" here I am. I am 34 yrs old and for the past 6 months or so I have been experiencing horrible mood swings. It seems to be happening just after my period is overwith or almost overwith. Would early menopause cause this? I eat pretty healthy. I can pretty much tell it's hormonal but it seems to be getting worse. I am extremely emotional, mood swings are bad, and my mind isn't functioning like it normally does. I want to pick a fight with everyone. It's almost as if I have depression!! But then suddenly, after a few days, it's gone as fast as it appeared. What could this be? I do take meds for thyroid but last checked it was fine. It has been fine for years. No changes. I am also diabetic taking Lantus, which I did find odd that my mood swings seemed to have began when I started the Lantus insulin. Any ideas would be appreciated.
