i am confused as to what is a hot flash
last night i kept waking up feeling slightly sweaty, not wringing wet through, and then i would feel hot from my middle upwards, it came in waves and then i felt cold and shivery.
this went on for a few hours, is this a hot flash?
my doc says i am in peri i am 49

Yes that is a hot flash.

so i am normal quite normal then

its sometimes hard to know what they are as everyone seems to have different ones
