I received my saliva test results and have a question I was hoping someone could answer.
I'm a 45 year old woman.
Estradiol 1.1 (range 1.0-1.5 postmenopausal)
Progesterone 33 (range 25-100)
Ratio 30 (range 50-200)
Testosterone 16 (range 20-50)
DHEAS 4.3 (range 3-10) (midlife 5-8; late life 3-5)
Cortisol AM 5.4 (range 3-8)
Cortisol PM 0.2 (range 0.5-1.5)
The compounding pharmacist gave me just progesterone cream. It's 20 mg per 1/2 ml.
First, is this different or stronger than what you can buy over the counter. Will taking just progesterone also raise my testosterone levels? Should I be concerned about the low pm cortisol?
