Honestly, I think menopause just affects every single part of our bodies! I have definitely had "foot" changes. I've always walked 2-3 miles a day, and always bought the same brand of walking shoes and same brand of socks because they are so comfortable, and never had any problems. Well, the last year I kept getting these corns/callouses/whatever on one of my toes. I went to the podiatrist and he kept asking if I changed anything - shoe, sock -because it was most likely caused by wearing a narrower shoe or tighter sock. Well, no, none of that has changed. When I find something I like I don't change it. So the only thing that could have changed then is the toes itself - they must have spread out and gotten wider! So whether we say menopause or just getting older, I think our feet do change!
