New book with a hilarious title that I think will really help! - Menopause Message Board

After I finished singing for a mini Christmas concert the other night, a friend came up to me and handed me a book with a blank cover. She said "Wait until you get home to look at it." Well, I turned the blank cover over, and the title of the book is "It's My Ovaries, Stupid!" How hilarious it that! So far, I have only had a chance to read the forward, and I can tell that this is going to be a wonderful book and I'm going to learn soooooo much about this up and down time of life.

Lately, I have noticed that I have dark circles under my eyes every day. I am very fair skinned, and getting very little sleep, so that could be part of it...

The author's name is Elizabeth Lee Vliet, M.D. It should be in the major bookstores. I hope you can find it...

Another really funny book is called "Menopop" by Kathy Kelly. This is pure humor, no real wisdom at all (unlike the other one mentioned here.) But it is an actual pop-up book, like they have for kids, only about menopause. There's a 3-D uterus! I bought this for a friend and she went nuts over it. Maybe a good holiday gift for us meno-gals.
