You are not alone. Since starting perimenopause I've had periods of dealing with mild to severe reflux. I've found relief by taking Nexxum as needed...which has only been a couple times this year. Also changing my diet helps tremendously with eliminating that choking, burning, reflux affect. I've noticed that carbohydrates will trigger my symptoms.
As I type this email I'm experiencing reflux flare up which stems from the carbs & fried foods that I've eaten today. Ughhhhhh! I won't do this tomorrow
