| Re: Is compounded progesterone causing weight gain?
I hadven't really heard or read that having too much progesterone causes weight gain. What is important is that our hormones are balanced, not too much or too little of anything. There is no way of knowing if the progesterone is balancing out your estrogen unless you get tested. It sounds as though maybe some of your symptoms have improved, hence not wanting to give up the progesterone cream.
It stands to reason if you've slowed down your exercising (and not your intake of calories) then your weight loss will slow also. I think the older we get, the longer it takes to lose weight. So far, I've been pretty good at maintaining my weight, but I'm amazed at how much less and less I eat to keep it that way. I've especially changed the way I eat over the last 2-3 years.
