Shaky feeling inside ? - Menopause Message Board

Hi,

It's been a couple of years since I started with the "joys of peri"

I had major mood swings, depression, a few hot flashes, anxiety, high blood pressure, and heart palps (very scary), and the SHAKES!!

Everything calmed down for quite some time but seems to be starting up again...especially the shaky feeling. It happens when I wake from sleeping. I wake with a fast shaky feeling inside. I always think it's my heart rate, but when I check my pulse it's usually the norm.

Does anyone else experience this ?

Hi,
I have that all the time. Just like you, I notice it when I am first waking up. Alot of these peri symptoms come and go, then reappear again. Glad to have you join us, we are all in this together! Ann

Thanks for the welcome Ann. It really helps to know that others are going through the same things....Wish none of us had too though. Anyway, the shakey feeling always happens when I am waking and usually goes away once I get going. It's a really weird feeling though.
