I have many symptoms of peri-menopause. But for the last 6 months I am having period like pain for the whole month. It never seems to stop. Does anyone else suffer from this? and what did you do about it? I see my Gyno on Monday and I cannot wait. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and God Bless.

I have pelvic pain all month long too. Seems worse since I started on BCP's 2 months ago for cyst and heavy periods. Alot of discomfort in my back and left side. I"m tired of calling the doctor for every ache and pain. Sooner or later it has to get better, right? Good that you have it checked out, but probably peri related. I think everything these days is peri related! I think too that women with endometriosis have more problems during peri. My doctor is female and said her endo had been pretty good for years then really flared up when she went thru peri. Surges of estrogen that the lesions live off of. Just a thought. Ann

I had the pain you're describing for nearly 2 1/2 months constant. I change bcp's and also started taking regular (doctor prescribed) anti-inflammatories. Took 3/day for almost a month straight. The problems went away and now I only take the anti-inflammatory very irregularly when I think the pain is starting up again. This is definately not a natural way to go. Lots of pills and all doctor prescribed. All I can tell you is it worked and I don't get period type pain or lower back pain hardly at all anymore.
Here's hoping all our peri symptoms just disappear one day when we're least expecting it!
