Strange Periods - Menopause Message Board

i was bleeding ike 20 day from my period i went to the doctor i got some medience and it calmed down but I had this problem for 3 years i had werid Menstural cycles they dont last 3 day days mor like weeks can anyone tell me what is happening if anybody knows

Are you in perimenopause? Alot of women start having strange periods during that time. I never went for long stretches like that - but alot of women do. If you are not in peri - then I definitely would get this checked out more thoroughly.

I am currently on day number 23 of my period! This has never happened before to me either. I am 47 and assuming it's peri. (I don't like doctors and I'm waiting this out) Last month I went my usual 7 days, but only a few drops a day. This month it took a week to get started, went lightly for about 3 days, now it's been the same day after day after day.... I have no pain, etc. Do you?
