Hi...first off congrats on your twins! How exciting and exhausting all at the same time!!! I have not had what is happening ot you happen to me or anyone i know. However I wanted to comment on the fact that it is not all that unusual to still not have a period. Especially since you breastfed. Even for only a month it can still take a long time for a period to come around again. I never breast fed any of my kids and after my 3rd it took about 6 months or so for my period to show up. My best friend breast fed her baby for about 4 months and it took her 9 more months from stopping the breast feeding for a regular period to show up. I also would add that I would think it not impossible for you to go into menapause as well at 47. So I guess either could be happening for you. Maybe you could give a call in to your OB's office and ask one of the nurses what she thinks.
