I find that eating really salty foods at night (like take out Chinese-the worst!) will really make my eyes puffy the next morning. Also, try to avoid eating anything at least a couple of hours before bedtime. I think this trick works way better than trying to correct the puffiness the next morning!
plus- I use some of Cliniques "All about eyes" in the morning, and it really helps. My puffs are mostly gone by the time I get to work. If you try it, put it on about 5-10 minutes before make up so it can sink in.
