Anyone take Biotin? - Menopause Message Board

I just began taking a biotin supplement to help with skin, hair and nails. My dermatologist suggested it and said that it helps with dryness and skin texture. I really need something. My nails are splitting and breaking and I notice a diifference in my hair as well.
Anyone taking this? If so, how is it working for you?

I take Biotin along with B complex and Evening Primrose Oil. It has taken a long time but I definitely notice improvements - I hardly ever get any more pimples, the ridges in my nails are gone (that I've had ALL my life, I'm 36) and my hair is in better condition although I still think it's way too thin and I'm concerned about all the hair loss I've had.
