hi adrienne. if you check out the natural solutions thread at the top of this board, you'll see that ladies here take a number of different things to help some of the symptoms.
i take an all-in-one thing, specially for menopausal women, which contains lots of different things, but the main things seem to be calacium, magnesium, borage oil (similar to evening primrose oil), flax seed oil and fish oil. i feel it's important to take something like this for at least 3 months, for it to get properly into your system, and for you to notice any difference. i've been taking it since about april last year and i'm going to continue with it for another few years yet, maybe longer. i don't think supplements are things that make you wake up one day and think 'my goodness, i feel better'. it's a more gradual process, so that looking back you may remember how bad things were, and how much better they are now - if you see what i mean!
also, what works for one may not necessarily work another. good luck.
