It's about 8 years since I started the menopause and about 4 since my last period,suddenly I started bleeding 5 days ago, I have seen my doctor, he says it's quite common, but made a hospital appointment straight away, this I find worrying. Has anyone else experienced this please?

..... I have heard of this happening to other ladies..... I personally haven't gone through menopause yet...... still in the peri stage .... But i was told that sometimes your uterus will expel old blood after menopause... Still it's best to have it checked out... Best of luck and God Bless... Dee

Hospital appointment went OK yesterday, thankful it's over! I had an Endometrial Biopsy and a small polyp removed, also told there are changes to my womb lining, I have to wait 2-3 weeks for the results of the biopsy now.
