I've read through these threads and see many of you get nausea. I can't believe it didnt occur to me ( or my DR) that this is a sign of perimenopause ( I'm 45). It started a year and a half ago, felt like I had the flu... and I had experienced similar bouts of nausea AFTER I had the flu, so I didnt think anything, figured it would go away. Well, it hasnt, I've been tested for ulcers, IBS, etc, with no results. Still wonder about giardia but no bowel symptoms, just the uneasy stomach.
It doesnt matter what I eat, I feel bloated and full almost immediately, feels like its just sitting there, and growling/gassy noises and gas that frightens my cats and has made me wary of eating in public. The ONLY thing that works is taking a little ATIVAN before I eat-- happened on this remedy by accident while flying. I dont know why it works, does anyone have any ideas? My DR wants me to have all these gastric tests but I don't want them as have no pain or other symptoms--I'm not big on Western medicine. Apple cider vinegar can calm down and help digest, too.
Since I have to be on the Pill for fibroid/cyst combo, is there anyone else who has pretty constant nausea and gas for this long, and what do you do???
