Apparently, certain triggers can effect frequency and intensity of flashes and sweats; chocolate, coffee, red wine and others. It doesn't require large quantities, I drank one or two cups of coffee a day and now drink one cup of, half coffee and half decaf and it has made a difference. I have found red clover works well for me. It takes 3 or 4 weeks before you see the effects and you have to take it every day.
