Has anyone ever heard of mild numbness/tingling sensations (varying in intensity from mild to quite painful) as a symptom of peri-menopause?

I believe that the numbness/tingling symptom is listed as one of the 34 symptoms of menopause. I have had it off and on for years. Right now it is bothering my left forearm and left lower leg. It will go away in a few days only to reappear in another location! So many changes in our bodies at this time of life. Hard to believe these symptoms all have to do with changing hormone levels. I just had this happen right now, and decided to check on the board if this was a symptom just to make sure...
I had like a numbness/tingling of the nerve sensation shooting thru my right forearm...Sometimes I feel it on the top of my head or in my leg....It comes and goes., I havent had it for a few months, now just had it in my arm..
The first time this happened, a year or so ago, I thought I was having a stroke!

Numbness and tingling is most definitely a symptom of perimenopause. When it first happened, it scared me, because the numbness was in my feet every day for quite a while. That stopped, but the tingling continues on. I've had EVERY symptom of menopause, so if you have any other questions about any wierd feelings in your body, ask me!!
