I had a baby a little over 2 years ago, after having her i had a Mirena IUD put in and had it in for almost 2 years till it expelled itself. I have not had it for about 5 months now. Symptoms that i have been having off and on for over a year now are left arm pain, with numbess and tingling, chest pain, jaw pain. Those are what made me think it was my heart. Most recently i have noticed that my periods have went from 5-7 days down to about 3, a few weeks before my period i get palpatations which i have for years, but now i noticed swelling in my hands and feet, and now starting yesterday i keep getting hot flashes. I do suffer from anxiety due to always worrying that there is something wrong with my heart. I was told by a friend of mine today that maybe i am suffering from early symptoms of menopause. Is it possible at 35?? I read the list of symptoms.....i think i have had just about every one of them in the last year. I do take ativan as needed to help with the anxiety problem. Lastnite i had the first hot flash, i had a headache with it and felt a little nauseated. I instantly thought oh no my heart is bad and its a heart attack but i took an ativan sat in front of the fan and it passed. I had another hot flash today at work and one after work. It starts on my ears they start to feel very hot then it goes to my face. I do notice tingling in my arm also at the time. Anyone have any advice to share??
Advice to share? Wow!
You just helped me
I also experienced these same symptoms as recent as a week ago: my periods have went from 5-7 days down to about 3
Ok, mine reduced after I had my son... before my period i get palpatations
I attributed this to a new drink I tried and loved it! It had white tea and green tea in it. I thought I drank too much and had a reaction to it. swelling in my hands and feet
That's a regular occurrence w/me, when it comes to periods
I need to go read up on the symptoms of menopause!
You maybe going through it now at your age. My sister was about 36 when she said she started going through it -- I'm older than she is!
