Hi Adela,
the texture of my hair improved alot on the hrt.
even my skin tone and the ability to put on weight just on the belly area decreases. I miss my precious hormones and never realized how important they are to us woman.
I never heard of the medication you mentioned and have to do research on it to find out more.
is there a reason you can't take the hrt or is it by choice?
I JUST read in a magazine that woman dont' have a greater risk factor of getting cancer if they're only taking plain estrogen. it's the dual medications that can cause a risk of getting it. My patch is only estrogen because I don't have a uterus or any ovaries anymore.
you have to take another hormone with the estrogen if you have them still.
the form of hrt I'm on is made with spanish yams, a more natural form and not the harmful one that hit the news.
I have to commend you on your achiements to stick out the symtoms and I think you're a real trooper to have gone thru that.
good luck on this medication. keep me informed if you can to let me know what you think of it.
I'm curious and intrested to learn about it.
good luck,
Linda
PS- I also use extra rich conditioners now. I can't just use the ones I picked up at the super market anymore because my hair feelsl like hay when it's wet. it really became dried out. so I use a product from a hair supply store that most hair salons purchase they're products from.
it's the same substance you find in the packages of hair dye kits. I always said they should market those conditioners. they're the best.
