I'm no doctor but I also had thickening of the uterus..I don't know the measurement...all he said to me was it's "three times thicker than it should be" at my stage of menopause. But I was using estrogen cream and estrogen causes thickening. Uterine thickening could be pre-cancerous or cancerous or NOTHING...which mine turned out to be after a D+C. I would think that since you still get a monthly period that your uterus would have some thickening. It's post menopausal women who get a thinner uterine wall if I"m not mistaken. I'm sure it's nothing but it's better to have it checked out before it developes into something serious. Doctors are very cautious these days because of lawsuits, which is a good thing for us! As for the cysts, I don't think anything has to be done to cysts if there's no pain or problems from them. I did have some polyps removed during the hysteroscopy/D+C. Good luck and let us know how it goes. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.
