Would appreciate any advice on how to deal with feeling so bloated. By the evening I am at my worst. I also seem to be putting on a lot of weight so am trying to do more exercise but I feel so lethargic and sometimes just dont have the energy!
I would try drinking a lot of water and maybe going to a health food store for a digestive aid. Your digestive track seems to slow down at this time..therefore causing a lot of bloating and uncomfortable feeling in that area. Diet is key in keeping the weight off. Staying away from fried foods, too. It's difficult..this time of life. We as women just seem to have to work harder to keep our bodies fit.
I used to be terribly bloated every evening as well, and I have found that cutting down on both wheat and dairy products has helped me. Since cutting back on both, I have lost 2kg in 2 months as a result which is a bonus.
Maybe you have developed a slight wheat intolerance, and/or a lactose intolerance which is not uncommon at this time of life.
Funny, I was JUST thinking the same things...."why are my pants so tight all of a sudden?" It's really bumming me out! I have signed up for Yoga starting next month, and I'm going to try to start eating better....going to try to give up some of my extra curricular snacking. This stinks!
