I had my tubes tied almost 23 years ago and am 45 years old. Can getting your tubes tied throw you into menopause?

No not at all according to many doctors. The two are not related. I had my tubes tied in1988 and I am 52 right now and although I think I have had peri symptons for many years, it has been in the last year and a half to be full blown. If having a tubal threw one into menopause that would have happened many years ago for myslef. alyce20

Hi all,
I had my tubes tied back in 1990 at the age of 21, then later had my sterilization reversed in 1997 to have my youngest child (thankfully it worked) i was wondering if having so much done in there weather this could contribute to early meno i am now 39 but have been having symptoms for just over 3 years now.
