Sex during the menopause - Menopause Message Board

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone had any problems or issues with their sex lives during the menopause and is willing to talk about their experiences about what is normal and what's not?

and also of how you've coped throughout?

I'm 50 and still have regular periods but have many symptoms of peri menopause. I have completely lost my sex drive. I never feel like having sex any more, I used to enjoy it very much until about two years ago. When I do have sex my orgasms are very mild and practically none existant. I hate what this is doing to my sex life, my husband is very understanding but is getting a little frustrated. How are you doing?

Hi Ladies, I am 43 and having perimenopause symptoms. I too have lost my sex drive. I could care less if I ever have it. I will do it for the sake of keeping my husband satisfied, but I am just not interested. It worries me. Is it my relationship? Or me? Or some health issue? I am just going through so much.
