Internal Trembling and Shaking - Menopause Message Board

Wondering how it goes with other tremblers...

I know we had posted some time ago and was wondering if any of my fellow internal trembling buddies have found that they follow a pattern and if anything has helped you get it under control!

Buzzbabe3 - Hi there, I have had internal trembling and shaking for a year now and some days it is very mild and other days its worse. I also notice that when I am painting my nails, sometimes my fingers shake, do you get that too? Or is it just internal only. I have the internal as well when my fingers kind of shake a little. I hate this feeling ......

Still have my internal shaking, but its a little better. Not sure if I am getting used to it or its milder, but its been more bearable. I have not done much except tried buspar for 2 weeks and then stopped. Not sure if that did anything or not. I am still tired, appetite is better.

I am hoping that this is an upswing for me.

Well, I just started this trembling business in March, and I had been VERY worried about it until reading some of the entries on old threads. It's been comforting to know that others have this trembling/vibrating, too! My pharmacist mentioned that it could be related to menopause and hormones, so maybe it is. Mine started when I woke up at 3:00am one night vibrating from the waist up! Since then, it just stays with me. Sometimes others can see my hand tremble, but most of the time, I just feel it inside. It's a very weird thing that I've never heard anyone relate to menopause before. My question is: should I go to see a neurologist?? or is it really just a benign menopausal symptom?

I am only in perimeno and I got this trembling. I would definitely see a Dr and get some tests done to rule out other things it could be like thyroid or other issues. Just in case, cause you never know.

Mine was better for a bit, but now is back stronger.
