help what has happened

please can anyone shed some light on what might have happened, i have been taking 2mg estrogen only tablets for a few years (had a hysterectomy), although they worked to a certain degree they never got rid of all my symptoms.
i had to go in hospital for a gall bladder removal and as such had to stop the estrogen 4 weeks before surgery.
i started back on the estrogen after 6 weeks off it and it didnt seem to work as well, so my doctor put me on patches instead, i tried 25mcg but after 6 weeks my estrogen had dropped, so he put me on 50mcg but after nearly 3 weeks i felt really bad, had my blood tested and my estrogen had dropped even further, surely it should have gone up, anyone any ideas what is happening
thanks
andrea

Voodoo,

I would suggest you give your doctor a call while you wait for someone to respond to your post.

Good luck!
