Hi all,

I've had hot flashes at night actually hot all night pretty much and tried promensil. It took the edge off for a while but hasn't helped lately, and gives me a tummy ache.I had a hysterectomy 2 years ago (I am 50) and my gp prescribed me sandrena gel 1% (oestradial). Has anyone taken that (rubbed onto thighs and belly)? If so what side effects if any have you experienced?

I am very wary of HRT but need a good nights sleep. I am sick of my internal thermostat going haywire.

I would be grateful for some information.
