Perimenopause or Normal? - Menopause Message Board

Hi, I'm 41 years old....was just wondering is this normal? I've always gotten my period every 28-30 days, but the last 6 months, I've been getting it every 25-26 days, and the flow seem heavier as I've gotten older. My dr. told me not to worry about it..this is normal. I'm not having hot flashes or anything, just normal pms.

Fluctuations of a couple of days can be normal. But your question is normal or perimenopause - well, both. I have been reading books by Dr. John Lee and Dr. Christiane Northrup lately and would recommend them for all of us approaching the menopause years.
