Perimenapause
I am 36 years old. I had a partial hysterctomy at 26 years. I still have my ovaries. I have been experiencing night sweats for approx. 2 years now off & on. I have also experienced many "weird symptoms", such as leg muscle aches, hair loss, insomnia, extreme fatigue, depression and extreme anxiety. I have not experienced hot flashes (I'm assuming that's what they are)until just recent and they are very brief and not every day, usually in the mornings. Obviously I don't have monthly cycles so I can't use that as a gage. I have been to two ob/gyn's and my family doctor. One ob/gyn and my family doctor say yes, menapause, one ob/gyn says no. My hormone levels are boardline low. I took Premarin for approx. 1 year and the symptoms subsided. I took myself off after visiting my last ob/gyn and after several months, the symptoms have progressed. I feel I am too young to be experiencing these symptoms (since I was 33 years old). Is this truly perimenapause? Has anyone else experienced similiar symptoms at such a young age? I know this is lengthy so thanks to anyone that reads this and gives me their input.
