If you are talking about peri-manopause, the only way to know for sure is to have an FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) test done. Peri-menopause may be a short or long period of time until you transition into full blown Menopause.I think that there are about 100 possible symptoms, so it's best to get tested to know for sure.
I had a very unusual symptom which made me go check everything out. I was getting mild nausea for months, than severe nausea (during a time I was supposed to be ovulating) and that scared me .Was tested, and told that my hormones are changing rapidly and I was peri-menopausal. I would never what to relive that again, though.
