Hi,
I had seen where you posted to a reply on this board concerning hormone levels.
I got a question for you/ if you can answer it I would greatly appreciate it!
I am soon to be 40. I went to the dr. a few days ago with anxiety syptoms, moodiness, irritability, insomnia etc.
The Dr. put me on an antidepressant and also did some blood work to check hormones.
He did the FHS test which was normal at 6.1.
He also checked my estrogen which was 18! He said that was extremely low and I was pre-menopause.
When the blood was drawn on had been on my period for 4 days. Does that made a difference in the estrogen level being sooo low? Do I sound like I'm entering menopause?? I'm so confused! Although my mom went thru it at 41, grandma 43. Can they just go by the estrgen level to say your are entering menopause? Could there be anything else wrong in my body causing this?
Like I said, I had read where you had posted a reply to anothers question. I was hoping you could help me out. If you don't know all the answers I understand.

Thank you much! Kathy
