I am guessing that they will be doing a hysteroscopy. Is that correct? If so, they usually use some type of IV sedation so you'll be out during the procedure. If that is the case, you will need to have someone to drive you home. After a hysteroscopy, one does have some bleeding like a period and a prescription for pain med is usually given for something like vicodin or percocet. There is some abd pain and/or cramping that the pain pills can control nicely.
