| Re: surgical meno symptoms
I was told for a year that maybe it was anxiety, but I knew it wasn't because I'm not a anxious or stressful person. But after my complete hysterectomy, it hit me the day after really bad. I couldn't breathe, and I told the nurse so my gyn got me a hormone patch, and after a few hours a felt 100% times better.
I have felt that again a few times when my patch either fell off or when I have forgotten to change it on time. So I know for a fact that my estrogen levels affect give my cardiac symptoms. By the way I dont' just get the pressure and trouble breathing, I also get irregular heart rythms.
So they can no longer tell me it's anxiety. They believe me know. thank goodness.
sheenameena, are you menopausal, whether surgical or not? Could your symptoms be from a lack of estrogen?
Take care,
Mo
