crewe: It doesn't have to be menopause, it's PERImenopause. You'll be seeing changes going on in the duration of the cycles. You could go weeks without one and then have some spotting and it will go on for several cycles. You have to go a year without a period to be considered done with menopause. Get yourself prepared for this. For some it's a rough road.

Welcome to the forum crewe. I was 44 when my peri symtoms started. Been going on a few years now, and my bodies been working on becoming post-menopausal (it just can't make up it's mind yet, lol). All kidding aside, it most likely is peri. Average age range to start it is approximately 35-55, with some rare exceptions starting sooner or later. Glad you're here!
