Pregnant or entering "The Change"?
I'll be 44 next month and have never been pregnant. For the last 5 years or so, I have been very regular with my periods. I have no symptoms other than being about 3 weeks late. I keep expecting to start any minute, although I am not having any cramps or anything. Someone said that at my age the over the counter tests may read false. Any idea?

Hi tawnyjade, welcome & glad you posted!
If you don't trust the OTC pregnancy test(s), then I'd suggest you see your doctor to find out for sure. I don't mean to be a downer, but I started peri at your age (44), and have recently been missing periods altogether (for 2 mos now at age 47). You could be peri-meno or it could very well be pregnancy. To find out definitely is the first very important step! Good luck & God bless, ~Karen

Thanks! I guess I souldn't keep blowing it off.
My husband and I are usually very careful (condoms), but we got caught up in the moment and were less than careful for about two minutes (really, that's all!).
