| Honeybush tea helps menopause symptoms
Hi everyone,
This is my second post. My first post has had quite a few views but still no comments. Hope this post is interesting to some.
Just doing some research about herbal teas. I have purchased 3 herbal teas that are power houses in antioxidant properties. Honeybush tea is from South Africa, Cape Hope, and is naturally decaffeinated and is LOADED with beneficial minerals. It contains natural estrogens which help with menopausal symptoms such as regulating periods...hope it works.
The other teas I have bought are green rooibos and red rooibos, both are naturally decaffeinated. These teas are growing in there unbelievable antioxidant properties, some studies are saying even more than green tea. Green rooibos is unfermented, which means it is cut and packaged, which means it has more of the good stuff red rooibos has because it loses nothing from being processed. Red rooibos tea, which is the color of the fermented green rooibos, is fermented, processed, and is packed with everything as green, just that green has more.
These teas are being investigated for stopping tumor growth in breast and uterine cancers. Some studies are showing benefits in treating HIV, and diabetes. I could go on and on.
I feel these teas are worth investigating to all, even those who don't even like herbal teas. In this format, the honeybush tea is worth looking into for it's benefits with menopausal symptoms. Not sure how it will work as I am drinking my first cup now. It's delicious, it actually has a mild honey taste.
Please note, I am not an herbalist or clinician of any kind. Which means you should always contact your physician due to medicine interactions and possible allergy side effects. Although everything I have read about these teas indicates no KNOWN side effects with meds. you should always check with a professional because you never know.
I buy my teas from Mountain Rose Herbs. Their products are certified organic and Kosher.
Blessings to all,
Fayan
