| Re: How long does it take for progesterone cream to work???
Hi Lez,
What progesterone cream are you using? Sometimes you can get some at the health food store and think they are the best to buy, but in fact they don't have as much progesterone in them as others. Usually there is a number listed on the cream that you can call to find out exactly how much progesterone is in the cream. I use Meno-Ease by Rexhall and it has a high amount of progresterone. They sell it at the health food stores but you can also buy it at Walmart for half the cost. It's on the vitamin aisle. They say it can take up to 30 days for progesterone cream to start working, but after taking it for about a week I noticed a big difference. Progesterone is the first thing to go during peri. Just use about a pea size on your inner arms or inner thighs to start and see how you feel. Remember, give it about a week or so to kick in. Use it two to three weeks during the month. When your period starts, stop using it and go for one to two weeks before you start the cream again.
Hope this helps,
Missy
