meno and chest tightness
I am having chest tightness and heavy feeling. I am in the middle of my cylcle. I am also having anxiety surges at night and strange dreams. Does this sound like peri-menopause to anyone? I am 49. It is really worrying me.
I have had heart checked out many times but nothing showed but some palps.

anxiety can mimic heart problems and it can be hard to tell the difference ..I have been to the hospital thinking I was having a heart attack and it turned out to be a panic attack..and mine was only menopause related now that I'm on HRT it has gone a way ..

Hi misstlynn,

It sounds like peri to me, I have had the chest tightness too. Just follow up with your doc to make sure everything is okay.

As far as the vivid dreams, aren't they so wierd??? I started having them about a year ago and they can be quite startling!!!! I feel like I am living an action-packed movie in my head most nights. They totally awake me and then I am usually up all night from it.
