New to this board

I have been having irregular periods for about two years now, however, this particular period started off as quite light for 5 days and is now very heavy with lots of clotting, some quite large. I had this once before and the doctors told me it was normal. It makes me feel really horrible and I don't like to go out for fear of seepage. It has been heavy for about 3-4 days now and I just wish it would stop. I will be so grateful to be through the menopause, the sooner the better.

Welcome to the Board!

Clotting and heavy periods can be quite frightful at times. I never used to clot until the last year. As long as the clots are not bigger than a chicken egg, it's okay. My periods will be light or non existent one month, and then lookout for a whammy the next!

Thanks Missy222, I am pretty fed up, my period just does not seem to want to stop, and these clots are really disgusting. I just can't wait for this to stop.
