Multiple periods
Hi everyone!

I have been experiencing not 1 - but 2 periods a month. Not normal, well 1 is normal and then 2-3 weeks later something really light and mostly not worth more than a liner. Does anyone know if this is normal? I am going to get my yearly done in a couple of weeks but thought I would ask here too.

Yes, I believe that is normal - I believe that is what happens in the peri-menopause stage. How old are you? I'm 46 and I started with the multiple periods at 40.

haha - thanks - I will be 40 in January. Guess it's about that time..

Glad to hear that it is normal to get periods 2 weeks apart while in peri because I started getting 2 a month October 2009 right on my 31st birthday. My gyn said in August 2010 that I am in peri. She also said that last October is when I started peri. My diagnosis is premature menopause. She gave me that diagnosis last month. Because of me being so young, it took her a while to pick up on what has been going on with me for almost a year.
