I have recently had FSH blood test result came back 52 so doc says menopause. My periods have been reasonably regular (although for the past 18 months I have bleed for approx 12 days) apart from one a couple of months ago came after 17 days. Then this month nothing currently on 40 days. I have night sweats but not in the day time. Recently I have had neck and shoulder pains with headaches, so I thought tension headaches. Shoulders and neck now a little better but now I am just dizzy all the time. It is awful everytime I move my head I feel like I am going to fall over! Went to the GP and she gave me tablets for vertigo. I have taken them for a week no difference, in fact I think it is worse so have stopped taking them. I can deal with the night sweats at the moment as they are not to bad but this dizziness is horrible. Will this go on for years?? What a horrible thought! Any suggestions on what I can do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
