tatsu15: Get yourself to an endocrinologist and get all your hormones checked. Migraines and low blood sugar are on the list of 40 things associated with Estrogen Dominance. Migraines go right in line with seizures. Seizure meds are prescribed for them. Look at what you're eating. Try to stay away from stuff with MSG and Soy. Soy is a phytoestrogen and messes with the estrogen receptors in your brain. It's in tuna, mayo, and more.
You probably are peri. How are your cycles?
It's not going to be a fun ride if you're getting migraines. You can also try taking some magnesium and increase your consumption of nuts and fish and even dark chocolate.
Also try taking some B6 and B12.
Do you seem to be bothered by smells, chemicals, perfume, etc. They could also trigger the migraines. Watch out for EMF's too - cell phones, computers, video games, etc. They all emit them and cause disturbances in the brain. There is alot of information on these boards. Look around.
See if you can get Dr. John Lee's books "What your doctor won't tell you about menopause" and he's got one on premenopause too. They're a load of info and a woman's bible during this time of her life.
