Nausea - not enough sleep?

Have any of you almost been dizzy and nauseated - not only from our changing selves but maybe even from lack of sleep? I have not been sleeping at well at all and have been feeling nausea a lot of the day. Maybe too I am coming down with the flu..LOL I already have a cough but I notice that I dont feel as "healthy" when I'm not getting my rest.

Re: Nausea - not enough sleep?

willow71: Being dizzy and nauseated are symptoms of low blood sugars. Excess estrogen can cause low blood sugars. It is flu and cold season so you need to make sure you keep yourself hydrated and wash your hands alot. Getting sleep is important but the insomnia is also one of the things associated with the change and excess estrogen. Try using some progesterone cream. That might help you sleep better. Melatonin is useful and drinking warm milk before bed can help with the sleep issues.

Are you having hot flashes? Hot flashes are a sign of lower estrogen levels. I've never had one yet because I've got estrogen dominance. Look it up. There's around 40 symptoms/side effects of it.

Re: Nausea - not enough sleep?

Hey! Thanks for the reply. You know - you said low blood sugar. That very well could have been. I got a little sweaty with it too and then I had a piece of toast with some butter and it seemed to help almost instantly. just toast? Oh well. I felt a little better after that.

Yes on hot flashes, not many though and I have just over half of all of the other symptoms too. I also drink LOTS of water so I'm good there.

Thanks so much!
