i am 45 years old and i am taking a contraceptive pills,why do i have twice menstruation period

Either that brand is no longer the one you need to be on or you are starting perimenopause and your body is overriding it. I had the opposite...I was skipping periods on the pill. Switched to hormone replacement therapy and never had another period. Talk with your gyno.
